Why doesnt ubuntu install

Hello, I'm trying to download an online game on to my computer, but im having troubles now that i have switched to Ubuntu. It will start to download but after it is complete i cant figure out how to make the download work. When i try to play the game it says i must download it even though i already have. If someone knows how to help i could really use your help.

Please give us some additional details. What game are you trying to play and how are you attempting to install it on your machine? If the download is a Windows program, you will need to install WINE to play it. If it is a Ubuntu game, the easiest way to install is through the Ubuntu Software Center.
