Hello comunnity. I have a quick question. I'm installing Linux on my machine for the first time. Wanted to give it a try. I hear that it's possible to run games on Linux with a program called Wine. If I do this, will I need to reinstall all my steam games? Or will I be able to access them from there current installation on Windows 7? Just not sure how this works. Thanks.

Solution
yeah, you will need to reinstall them.
Dont expect things to go 100% smooth, remember that it is NOT windows. WINE just provides a reverse engineered windows library so things will work.

To help install things, and be more windows like, i suggest using a wine front end like http://www.playonlinux.com/en
*note* source based games generally work without much work ;)
