I'm getting an error message when attempting to add notes to a
recurring appoinment I have. I have set this appointment to occur every
day - it's where I enter my daily "To Do" list. It's for short term
stuff; I keep long term to do items in my Tasks area. I enter various
info in the Notes section of recurring item.
When attempting to add data to this item for one day, I got the
following message:
"Your changes to this appointment have made the appointment's exception
data too large. Remove some of the exception data for this appointment,
especially in the notes field."
I understand that the Axim is trying to tell me that there are too many
notes for this item, but I haven't found any documentation on how to
fix it. I don't have that many lines of text for this item for that day
and even removing all the lines of "Notes" text for that day still
causes the Calendar to lock up.
My guess is that since this is a recurring item, it stores up all the
prior notes I've had for this recurring item and it has reached its
limit.
Has anyone seen this error message before? Does anyone know a
workaround for it? Do other users manage their short term to do lists
differently? I'd like to have a record of what I've done for that day,
so I don't just want to overwrite the list each day.
I hope someone else has seen this error message before.
Thanks.
