High temperatures with my Artic freezer Pro 7

Hi guys i just bought an Artic Freezer Pro 7 and what i just have the internet on , msn and listen to music, both core temperatures are 50 degrees :S ( is this right ?) Btw i got an E6600

I wouldn't say that is a good temp.

When you installed the AFP7, did you make sure the 4 pins are through the MB, by viewing the back side of the MB?

Before you push down on the pins, be sure the top is turned opposite of the arrow as far as it can when you push down.

I don't think you have good contact on the bottom of the HS to the top of the CPU.

If you attempt to reseat the HSF, be sure to clean off the thermal grease, and reapply it, and if you use AS5 (Arctic Silver 5), go by the instructions off their website.

How warm is the temp in the room you PC is in? On warm, hot days a fan cooled system will run 5 to 10 degrees warmer than on cooler days. Just a thought... :lol:

seems to be a bad seat. Mine won't hit 50º at 3.2ghz at full load. 3.4 is another story though...
Is it OCed? Stock speed but overvolted? Bad HSF seat?
