Hi everyone

I've a SMC ADSL router and a Zyxel access point. I connect the access point to the router. I've set the AP DHCP as a relay (so that the router DHCP will assign the IP). Now I've forgot the AP IP address and I can't connect to the AP. I've check the router DHCP log, it didn't show that the AP is in there. I also check at my laptop connecting to the AP. the IP is the IP range from the router and the gateway is the router IP. I can't find any information for the AP IP at all.
Is there anyway I can find the AP IP address without having to do a reset?

BTW, I don't check my logs to get an IP in my LAN/WLAN. I look at the status page which shows currently connected devices.

Thanks akhilles for your reply but Netstumbler won't show the IP address of the AP.

unfortunately this router doesn't have a feature to show current connected devices.

Use some sort of free network IP address range scanner program that will also show MAC addresses, and use the MAC address that you find in NetStumbler to find the IP address you need. :) I've used these programs in the past but I can't quite remember the names of them. Just google it.
