Just a novice. Got a 64 vista 6 G trying to look to future. Do I really need to buy expensive software to upgrade these programs from xp or is it OK to run them in xp environment ( not sure how to do that but any help would be appreciated here)The software is mostly psychological testing material. Thanks in advance.

Contact the maker of the software you intend on running and ask them...
