GoBack help?

I know this is OT, but maybe someone can help.
I have been using GoBack for a few years and have had no trouble with it.
Recently, however, someone was screwing around with it while using my
system, and they password protected all options. They do not remember what
that password was. Now I cannot change any options, nor remove the program
to reinstall it. Norton bought GoBack from Roxio, and there is no longer any
significant help available, especially on this issue.
Anyone have ANY ideas on how I might at least remove GoBack, if not figure
out the password he stuck on it?
Many thanks!

What did the folks at Symantec say when you contacted them? Symantec has
some of the best support staff in the business...if anyone can give you a
definitive answer, it would be them. (note: Your problem is not a Windows
XP problem, so it was really not appropriate to post to this group. I hope
my answer helps in some small way).

Hello, Did this person have administrative rights? If so there may be no
easy solution. Try entering safe mode and using Administrative Account to
access GoBack options. Research using Google. Try Norton again.
If you find a solution would appreciate having it posted here for future
assistance.
The few post I read"using Google Search" concerning this problem were not
helpful.
Take Care.

If Symantec can help, and you've got desperate, you may end up having to
backup your important personal files and "format" and "reinstall" - I'd have
a stern talk with the "someone" screwing around and maybe if possible have
them be involved with the "format" and "reinstall" to include not going to
the mall with friends or that date on Friday night - if it's that type of
"someone".
