my ram is showing slower...

I have 2x1 gb 800 hz corsair ram 4.4.4.12
however it is showing 400 hz, i have a GA-p965-DS3
how can i fix it

Where are you getting this reading? Some programs, like CPU-Z, show the ram as "half" it's actual speed. DDR2-800 operates at 400mhz, but since it's DDR ram (double data rate) it can complete 2 operations per clock, so it's effective speed is 800mhz.
