Minimize Maximize Issue

Hello,

Hoping someone on the board can help. I had some major issues with crashing
with IE7 (just the browser crashing, not the system) so I had to remove SP3,
remove IE7 then reinstall SP3 and then put on IE7 again...after all that
things seem to be working with one issue...

Whenever I minimize a window, be it IE or Windows Exlorer or Foobar,
etc...it minimizes fine, but when I click on it in the Taskbar, it refuses to
maximize again. If I right click and then select RESTORE it comes back, but
when minimized it does the same thing again.

Very, very annoying.

Any suggestions? Any way to re-register the Taskbar?
