No internet connection on Ubuntu 12.10
Oct 20, 2012, 1:31 PM
So I thought that I could just plug the LAN cable, but apparently that's not the case. I have ASUS P8Z77-M PRO motherboard with Realtek® 8111F, Gigabit LAN Controller. Now should I do something with drivers or what?

Ok, thank you very much! Any help on how to actually install this would be appreciated. Yes, I did notice the readme, but anything really noob-proof isn't going to hurt either.

the readme should contain all steps you need to install the driver. usually you just need to run some sort of premade script and/or a few commands.
