You Tell Me What's Missing, Please!

I am building a new computer with a Core 2 Duo E6600. I'm using this system for Adobe applications and music recording/production. I know what I want for all the other parts EXCEPT motherboard and memory. I know I want 2gb (2x1gb) of DDR2 800 memory, but that's all I know. What is an ideal motherboard/memory combination? I'd like to keep the combined cost of the two under $250. Thank you!

More about what missing please
  1. You considering gaming at all? What graphics card are you planning to buy? I really need more information to recommend a kind of board for you...
  2. Do you want to overclock? Do you think you will want two video cards?
  3. I'm sorry for the lack of info. I'm not concerned about SLI, and I don't really plan on gaming. If my budget allows, although it's overkill, I'll opt for an EVGA 8800 320mb card; otherwise, something along the lines of a 7900GS or ATI equivalent. I'm not planning on overclocking either, unless I have to in order to get the 1:1 ratio with the processor and memory, unless it doesn't make much of a difference. Hope this helps!
