Everyone has been a huge help the past week, so I wanted to share the progress of my first build. So far so good, just working through the common issue of loading SATA controllers so XP will recognize the hard drive. MS really needs to figure out that nobody uses floppy drives any more, and it may force me to buy some useless hardware.

Anyways, here goes - cabling is a mess, but it'll be fixed once the computer is working. I don't have the 100 posts to submit pictures, so here's the link.

I'll post them now - still up trying to figure out how to work around not having a floppy. If anyone else has the issue, there's a good guide at PCStats.

Media - Samsumng DVD-RW w/ Lightscrible
Video Card - reusing Nvidia 5200 PCI card - it hurts, but I'll be getting a PCIe soon.
PSU - Corsair 520HX
Case - Centurion 532
