Hi all.

I have an XP pro installed on ah HP 8510w.
It has a T9300 Core 2 duo processor.
If i right click the My Computer on the desktop or in start menu it says right that i actually have a core 2 duo CPU.
If I open Computer management and rightclick the Computer Management (Local) and select properties, it will show me that i have a pentium III xeon processor.

Can somebody help me with this ?

Don't worry about it. Alot of systems show different like that. Did you load the chipset drivers and the intel processor drivers?

Yes i have installed all the drivers.
If in the first case it sees the processor right, then it should have been installed, right?
The problem is that in all our asset management tools it shows up that it has a Pentium 3 Xeon.
Could this be an XP Bug? That it does not support newer CPUs?
