If you have a speaker hooked to the MB jumpers, pull all the RAM out and boot up. If the MB does not beep to signal NO RAM, the MB is the problem.

i have the speakers plugged up but how do i hook a speaker to the mb jumper? i tried pulling both sticks of memory and nothing changes,i still have no error number in the little display just 2 - - in the displays. i still am unable to get the evga logo to show and i cant get acces to bios. the monitor is just blank and when i unplug it and re plug it says its going to power save mode.if i hook it to another computer it works fine

You would have to get a speaker from another case that had the MB jumper plug in attached to the speaker.

It sounds like you have a MB problem or MB failure. It's hard to say if the overclock or the cpu, RAM and system bus, Raided HD's, SLI'd 8800's or the MB has failed. My suggestion would be to break your system down to the basics. Unplug everything except one DIMM of RAM in Slot 1, one Video card in the primary PCI-E sot and the cpu and fan. Try with just the minimum and see if you can get to a BIOS post. If booting with the bare basics like this to get to BIOS fails, RMAing the MB would become an option. Test the video cards and RAM in other systems to asure they have not failed. Your only option is to test you parts and/or use spare parts to try and get back to BIOS post. The MB and/or the CPU may have gone if you were overvolting the system in BIOS. I've done it myself.
