my computer's windows vista asks me to do windows activation...this action is not possible on my PC, but it is also a long time that my desktop wallpaper has been disappeared and whenever i choose a wallpaper after several minutes, it disappears. i think windows activation must be relevant to disappearing wallpaper but i don know how to solve it...do you have any idea to help me?

Why is activating Vista not possible on your PC? If it's on an isolated network, i.e., no Internet access, call Microsoft to activate it.

if you don't activate vista within the proper timeframe, it does more than make your wallpaper disappear. it limits alot of the functionality of the OS itself.

as Ghis asked, why isn't activation possible on your machine?

Correct, lack of activation is the reason for wallpaper disappearing every 60 minutes.
