I have a problem with Microsoft/Windows update. When I click on "Microsoft Update" in the start menu, I get redirected to the wrong update site. (http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/nl/default.asp) This site is not compatible with Windows XP.

The problem is partly solved by using the User Agent String Utility created by Microsoft. It emulates IE7 into IE6. In the future when IE8 is not Beta any more this utility won't work any more and I can't update my Windows any more.

I use Windows XP x64 Pro.
My User Agent String is: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.2; WOW64; Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1) ; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.30; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.648; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729)

After emulation: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1) ; SV1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.30; .NET CLR 3.0.04506.648; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729)

To my eyes it looks like Windows Update has a problem with the "Windows NT" part...
