Can I use a Vista OEM disk with a Retail license key. How about the reverse. Can I use a retail disk and an OEM license key. In other words, do I need an OEM disk for OEM keys, and Retail disks with retail keys?



I know that OEM keys can only be installed once where retail keys can be moved. I know that the license key dictates what version is installed from any media. For example, I can use a Vista Business DVD and a Home Premium key, and it will install Home Premium as the key indicates.

Anyway, what disks do I need for OEM vs Retail installs?
