I have noticed a sluggishness with my Dell GX620 Windows XPpro WorkPC lately. It appears that the offending process in the Task Manager is "NMIndexStoreSvr.exe". Even up-grading from SP2 to SP3 hasn't made any difference. Can anyone tell me the purpose of the offending program, why it appears to be in a loop and what I can do to fix it.
