Thats it!!

I was really surprised by the low number. The Half Life numbers are
still pretty high.

Anyway, its been years since I played, and I am still the God of Q2!! lol

You must have just looked at FFA. After checking all the variations and
mods I counted 322 playing Q2. And this is at 6:38 AM Eastern time US.

I still play it more than any other online game.

Making a world-wide scan with The All-Seeing Eye, I got 966 servers and 662
players right now. More people are playing later the evening.

Interesting. I am using Gamespy Arcarde. I need to look into that and

that certainly beats the hard core few of about two dozen that are still
playing Shogo! ;-P

I think there are probably a few thousand still playing Quake2 somewhere!

It didn't "interest" you enough? You missed out on something good.

Well, maybe.
When I got the monster-PC for Quake 4, I'm sure that I will also have a look
at Doom 3.

Considering ther possible requirements for Q4, D3 will easily run with an
average 200 FPS in full quality and high resolution on this machine. =8^)

Yeah I'm definitely down for the coop thing. I just hope my pc can keep up
with the game.

So any way... Back on subject here. Why do I only show 43 people
playing in Gamespy arcade?

Any ideas?

Updated your server lists lately? I usually use ASE, but I dusted off my
old Gamespy(not Arcade) v2.1.9 and only got 62 players. When I updated
servers I got almost 150.

Hi Dan,
I get 453 servers and 366 players on Gamespy (Not Arcade) at 1pm EDT.
There may be some other update feature in Arcade that you need to run.
Otherwise, try Gamespy or All Seeing Eye.
