How to use my camera with ubuntu on my easynote te packard bell laptop

Depending on how the camera connects to the system, you can open a terminal (Ctrl-Alt-T by default) and run either lsusb to check USB connected devices or lspci to detect bus connected devices.

Once located, you should see additional information, such as a maker and device identifier, which you can use to manually search for information.

Also examine the output of dmesg to see if there is any mention of that same device.

If you don't see anything that looks even remotely close, it may be a proprietary interface that Ubuntu can't detect or use. Packard Bell may or may not offer information about the camera.
