Hello sir's...

amd-5800k just came out and i'm not sure if i'm going to buy it over i5-3570k
I'm bulding a mid low end pc right now..
i already bought a rosewill fortress 750watt power supply 80+ platinum cross fire-sli ready
and an 120gb SSD OCZ vertex 3 Max IOPS.
and also G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1600mhz )

my original plan is to buy 3570k but the 5800k looks very interesting.( in terms of budget gaming build )
since im confused now help me which to buy...
i haven't decided yet what video card to buy because i don't know now what CPU to buy..

if AMD wins...i want to put a 7770HD and crossfire it with 5800k if possible..( I'm new to AMD by the way )
if intel wins my choice is MSI 660Ti 2gb power edition..( old intel-nvidia user btw. )

I'm not building a future proof( 4-5yrs ) PC just want a 2-3yrs future proofing,,,,

thank you!!! i need your help!! you! you!!!and you!!:):):)

I'm not a serious gamer but i do play a lot on weekends off like 8-10hrs and 3-4hrs after work..
i only play MMO's like league of legends and star craft 2,,diablo3 and do my autocad graphic assignments...

if possible i want to have a cpu+mobo and Video card for $400-500, because i already spend the $600 to my PSU,RAM,SSD,HDD, and computer Case which is phantom 410..

NO NO NO NO
in order to combine APU and dGPU you can only use the above. You can put any GPU with ANY CPU. You'd be wasting some silicon, but then we all do if they have iGPUs.

yah i know.. because im willing to go down to budget build if possible,,and in terms of upgrade i will only use the PC for like 2yrs and build a new one..

but if i'm goin for intel i have to stay using it for 3-4yrs...because of the cost..

The reason to buy a trinity apu is for the good integrated graphics.
The integrated graphics is almost as strong as a $100 GT640 discrete card.

The trinity is competing with the Intel i3-3220 from a compute point of view, and generally loses a bit there.

The GTX660ti is a fine card on which to base your gaming.
You could use a 3570K which is as good as it gets for gaming today, and will still be good when haswell arrives next year.
If your budget does not permit the $230 which a 3570K costs, then you could use a $130 i3-3220 and still do better than the A10-5800K. Here is an article which includes such a comparison:
http://www.anandtech.com/show/6347/amd-a10-5800k-a8-5600k-review-trinity-on-the-desktop-part-2/6

If you use a Z77 based motherboard, you will keep open the option to eventually sell the i3-3220 and replace it with a i5-3570K.

do some research, before muppets like some of the other posters here put you down the wrong track.

set your budget first, then start to pick parts.

my budget is $1000

i already bought my PSU,SSD,HDD,RAM,CASE = $500

so right now I'm stuck at $500 but i can go $600 if its really needed..
the reason why I'm eyeing the A-10 5800k pair with cheap compatible vcard+MOBO... is actually exact to what i still have left,

if i bought a 3570k+mobo and whatever vcard is there to handle my autocad+mmo games.. my budget is short...

If you are using autoCAD, then there seems to be limited multi core support.

If that is the case, then a strong dual core intel cpu will be superior for that purpose.

I would suggest using a i3-3220 which is similarly priced to the A10-5800K.
Intel does more work per clock. On a single threaded app, it is about 25% faster than the a10-5800K.
Here is one example: http://www.anandtech.com/show/6347/amd-a10-5800k-a8-5600k-review-trinity-on-the-desktop-part-2/2

If you are very short on funds, why not try the integrated HD2500 graphics of the i3-3220 first? It should be sufficient for any desktop usage, and perhaps adequate for games that are not fast action. Later, when you know your gaming needs, you can add the appropriate gaming graphics card.
