I've made a post earlier about "Out of range" problem, Now that I know what it is i need help with fixing it.

Specs
q6700
4gb ram
asus Pdn mobo
2 X western digital 320 gb in raid 0
9600GT
Vista Ultimate 64bit

Well I bought this pc and the person had a 24 inch monitor and they had it set to a very large resolution, my monitor maxes out at 1440X900.
Now there is no onboard video and there isnt a way for me to change it in the bios settings
I've tried booting in safe mode, regular mode, and command prompt,
each time when I select one of these options there is a litle load screen in the middle and just about its to show the log in screen monitor goes blank and states Out of range.

So how can I fix this other that reinstalling?(im wondering if that would fit it even?

I was thinking about taking one of the drives out and puting it in another PC but its set in raid 0 and I've never messed with that so i would leave that rather alone

Register or log in to remove.

try to use the F8 the same as safe mode and there is another option to force VGA.
try that and see if it will let you in.
