I've downloaded every update, I've downloaded the wireless driver, but no matter what I can't connect to the wireless. What do I do?

your problem is not a big problem can resolve it by installing Ubuntu any version and when that is installed will b GUI come that will say u to reboot now at that time u have to connect your system to a net by a wired connection. And click the reboot. After that when your system is restart you have to go to the Dash Home and search their for Update manager. Open that and check for updates by clicking check and updates will occur and install all of them. After this you will not face any driver problem.

actually, it is a wireless driver problem, Try to get a driver for the BroadCom 4312 card, I have the same laptop,


Download synaptics package manager,

Search: bcmwl-kernel-source...

Download, restart, switch the wireless switch on, your good!
