The sims 2 double deluxe problems

ive got a brand new the sims 2 doubledeluxe edition and i was ready to install it and when it was time to put in the code thats on the back of the manual.it kept telling me i was wrong but i tryied over and over again can some body help me cause i really wanna play

Best thing I can think of is to contact EA Games to verify that the code is correct/valid.
