Hi Guys, I need a bit of Help, Currently I host a page from my own computer, and have set up the basic home network.(using Xp Professional on host and XP Home on recipient)
What I am doing is using a program called PDW to decode EMS Pager messages from a scanner radio, which is sent to the computer via the Line input Socket, the Program it self has a sound output for each message received, While everybody can see my webpage/Data, I cannot get the sound to come thru to the Recipient computer even with the "Bring to this computer" selected. Can the sound not be used to input and output at the same time.
When I use the program thru the Serial Port (Which is not very accurate) I can get sound forwarded to the recipient computer, is this something that can be with the firewall (XP) and can I open a port ?? to get the sound going, the sound card is working, and the RDP Audio Driver appears to be working..
Hope I haven't confused you,
Thank you very much for reading this if you can't help
Well you could set up an icecast server that pulls sounds from your computer and sends it to call connected basically it's internet radio and there will be deleay in the sound. Don't know how to fix the program your using so thought I'd suggest something
