I have been rocking Windows XP for awhile now and have finally got my new computer pieces in (just waiting on the power supply now). My question is that even though I own Windows XP, my brother owned a copy of Windows Vista Ultimate that he is no longer using since he got his Mac, will it be possible for me to use his copy for my new system build rather than spending around $200 for an OEM version? Im not as familiar with how Vista works as far as multiple system installations, etc.

Yes. I'd buy it off him. You'll need to activate vista after install on the new pc.
