i recently discovered that my restore had been turn off whem i removed the check mark out of the box i got a message say that it had encountered a problem try to inable or disable one or more drives ? im running an old xp computer 512 ram
asus mother board and a 128 gig nvidia vidio card if i go sys restore in assesories
i get a message that says that my sys restore has been turned off wold you like to turn it on clicking yes does nothing ive trid to enable it in safe mode i also have a dual boot system and can start the computer in win/98 it doent exist in win 98 so that didnt work i contacted microsoft security support explained the problem and they sent me a link to x-box support ? in thier last e-mail they said they attached a zip file
but no zip file was there it was supposed to be SRDIAG.ZIP does anyone know what that is or where it is or wher i can down load it or is this song i have to type into commad prompt im pretty sure this poblem was caused by a ms update net frame work 3.0 i always watch while i install up-dates and there was some reference to it doing somthing to sys restore it was a day or two after that i discoxered the prob;em the computer has avg nod32 no signs of a virus i ran spy-bot
i ran hijack this i ran trend micro systems each one came up clean i was going to do a complete re-install but my os/ has been chaned over the years to fat 32 and the dual boot system my xp disk has an older version than the one im running
but back to the question where or what is SRDIAG.ZIP ????/
