System goes to hibernation while using touchpad

XPS 1530 - Vista Home Premium 32 - bit sp 1

Issue : Customer reports that when he drags any icon or file , System goes to hibernation. Issue occurs only when customer is using touch pad.

Steps Preformed:

1. Update video driver, Touch pad, Bios nogo.
2. Pc restore performed & Osri done.
3. Cleared nvram nogo
4. system works fine with external mouse.

Check all power settings... make sure there is nothing unusual. Try disabling hibernation and see if it still hibernates. Check the BIOS settings to ensure it's not set to hibernate with the touchpad... it shouldn't be possible... but you never know.
