64-bit Ubuntu not installing on dual-boot?

I have created the partition, made a 65 GB partition (random number but...), and burnt the 12.10 iso onto a disc using Imgburn. I double-click the disc on the My Computer menu, and it pulls up the beginning. I hit "Demo and Full Installation" and reboot it. When I reboot it, it comes up like normal for Windows and does not say a thing about Ubuntu. I have no clue what the deal is. If you could please tell me how to install it starting from the partition settings, I would be thankful.
