Intel DP35DP with Q9300 and 8GB ram, XfX GeForce 9400GT, Hauppauge HVR 1800 MCE Kit. I had a terrible time finding mpeg decoders that work, but finally did, but only the TV works, not WMP11so I am still looking for a WMP11 decoder.

Right now the problem I am concerned with is that when playing a MCE recorded TV program, using either mouse or remote, if I hit the single arrow skip button forward or backward it works OK. If I hit the double arrow fast forward or reverse and then play, the program comes back momentarily then fails stating it can't find a signal. At that point, I have to hit the stop button and then resume in order for the program to continue. Any ideas?

since you are using a flavor of XP 32bit, why are you running 8G of ram, XP can't use this much RAM, not sure if it loses the instructions in an area that it cannot read from
