I cant delete ubtutu

i have windows 7 and i wanted to try out liunx so i downloaded it from windows. every time i turn on my computer it ask ubtutu or windows 7 i want to delete it :fou: so i installed easybcd looked it up online did eyerything then i went to disk management and there is no partion ubtutu is on. please help asap.

The partitions are there, Windows just doesn't understand them. You have to use a better partition manager to remove them (GParted comes to mind). Then you will have to deal with the master boot record because it will think that there are still 2 OS's on your machine.

You may need to edit your boot.ini

Go to start -> run -> msconfig -> Boot.ini tab

Under Operating systems you need to remove the ubuntu line. This will prevent it from prompting you which OS to choose on startup.
