For some reason, Windows XP x64 will setup on my Intel DX48BT2 mobo in IDE mode, but if I try in RAID mode, i get an 0x0000007B error, saying there are viruses in the boot sector. Any suggestions?
Did you press F6 to load the Intel drivers at installation time?
Yes, this was one of my attempts. (multiple actually). it always comes back with a 0x0000007B error when it attempts to start up windows. Everything is fine when not in RAID mode. I have also tried this with 32 bit XP. Same result.
If you download the 64-bit Floppy Configuration Utility from http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=2101&OSFullName=Windows*+XP+Professional+x64+Edition&lang=eng&strOSs=109&submit=Go! (#3 in the list), it should work.

The Intel DX48BT2 motherboard does not allow for a floppy.
