I have noticed that my windows XP Pro is showing a CD drive listed as (i) in the My Computer Drives menu the is not even installed on my computer. I have only one DVD-RAM burner that is listed under the drives. It doesn't appear to be interfering with the computer operation. It seems this started showing up after I installed Acronis True Image Home 2009.

When I right click on it and go to properties it shows a drive with zero capacity with nothing on it. Int the hardware profiles it is not even listed only the DVD drive is listed.

Why am I showing a drive that I don't even have as being on my computer? How do I fix it?

Sounds like you are just seeing the special partition created by Acronis?
