My pc is saying "the drive is not ready for use; its door may be open. Please check dtrive and make sure that a disk is inserted and that the drive door is closed". And this error message does'nt want to go away

Did you reboot the PC?

Did you check the CD/DVD drive and remove any media?

Do you have any USB devices such as thumb drives or cameras attached to the PC?
