After a year right on the expiring date of my pc warrinty. My windows XP expired also. I recieved a message saying I was a victom of software counterfiting. That my windows xp was not the real deal. I can't afford to buy another on. What should i do?

Make sure the message was genuine and not just a pop-up from a dodgy web site, it could be a scam.

If it was from MS it would (normally) appear after a Windows Update.

I just come back from the place that I bought my pc. that man fixed it for me. But he said the Norton Antivirus I downloaded done that to my computer. Do you think it did?
