Sorry but I do not understand your question. Vista software? Configuration? You are going to have to be a lot more specific.

Generally anything that will run under XP will run under Vista with no user modifications necessary.

If it's a hardware configuration you are looking for than get at least 2 gigs of RAM and preferably a modern dual core CPU.
