I have supposedly uninstalled winamp but its still on my notebook what can i do to get rid of if it

what makes you think that it is still there?
Do you see a icon? If so click on it and see if it runs.
If not delete the icon, sometimes they dont go away automatically.

If it does run look in the start menu for it and see if there is a uninstall routine there.
In control panel|programs there should be a entry to delete it also.

One of those will get rid of it.
