Registry Clean Up

I want to minimize my wait time when loading a new page such as yahoo/yahoo login ID/mail. I have searched the internet for a free registry clean up software download. I ended up with a free basic clean up; but the advanced one is $XX.XX from REGFIXPRO.com. Do I have to purchase this support companies services. Or can I clean up my registry myself? If so how? The scan that was performed by their software states that I have 231 problems found. Is a support company needed to keep my pc healthy?, or can I do this and be ok?

Ccleaner is a free one that does a good job.
