My laptop is a 5 year old Fujitsu C2111 series Lifebook with built in 811.b. The wireless connection doesn't work very well.

I recently bought a new Netgear WG511T wireless PC card for it and found that it worked much better when I was visiting a friend who is Mac based and has the Mac wireless set up in his house.

I haven't tried it yet on "regular" networks. I have an old LinkSys BEFW11S4 router and I was wondering if for a home setup I should get a new router to work with my new Netgear card or if the old router will still work well. The old router seems to be about 4 years old now.

So, the question is,.....should I just get a new LINKSYS WRT54GL ? Anybody out there like other brands more?

Thanks. :bounce:
