Hi,
I've been out of the software/hardware world for a long while now. I will be updating a small business computing system for a family member now as they will be unable to wait until windows 7 as we orignally planned.
I want to make sure this is correct and compatible.
One computer for the server using Win Server 2008 standard OEM version.
Four computers using Vista ultimate/Business
All of this will be x64 bit for security purposes and I've already checked with the secondary companies and they work with Vistax64. So, they should also work on Win Server 2008 (currently she is using server 2000).
What are the limitations for Server 2008 standard? Any that may impact a small business drastically? Also, I've read some places that the RAM limit is 4gb. Is this correct as this is still a x64?
Any recommendations/answers or questions I am open to. I only want to spend the money one time.
