i ordered the 8800gts 640mb and im going to get a 22inch widescreen soon
however im probably not going to upgrade video cards for a long while, min 3 years?

if u have money for a 8800gtx, cancel the 8800gts n get the gtx.

Good choice. It's what I got. I have seen analysis that say the 320 is the best value, but I wanted the extra megs for future proofing. Btw I have two 20.5" monitors and the 8800GTS handles both NP.

For DX9 an excellent choice, for DX10? No one knows the direction/demands of DX10 at this point. It will probably handle most games coming out for awhile in DX10, as it developes. 3 years is a looong time for gfx tho
