I'm thinking about upgrading the motherboard and CPU of my gateway PC, but I certainly don't want to buy a new version of windows vista.
So, I need some advice on how to activate vista again when the motherboard in my OEM system is replaced.

I have the gateway dx4200-09 with Vista home premium SP1.

Any help greatly appreciated!

All you have to do is call a number on the activation assistant when it pops up and talk to a computer for 10 minutes.
