Windows 7 downgrade to XP

Hello, i HAVE AN OLD DELL D600 with windows 7 already installed. The laptop doesnt fit the requirements for WIN 7. Need to go back to XP.
How do i do that?
Also have a problem with no sound.

You do that by installing windows XP.

Does the system have a restore partition or the original dell windows XP disk?
