Hi All, I have an issue with a few games Spore/Codwaw and vista 64 bit. I got a few apphang errors really only a few times in the 3 months I built this system, I was able to ctrl alt del out and end task. Wondering if anyone knows what might cause theses problems. I do have NOD32 by ESET running, Should I turn it off when in games? Thanks for any help.

Generally if you arent online when playing the games you can turn it off.
Usually when I play games offline I turn everything I can off.

Its hard to say what is causing the app hang but try this and see if it doesnt help.
Its usually trial and error to figure it out but this is a real good place to start.

You may be able to send a troubleshooting report to MS but you may not get a response because it is most likely a COD problem.
Try the new drivers from your other post. They may or may not help.
Also COD has released I think 4 patches for WAW that could solve your troubles.
I know at least one of them is for Multi Player as your error message indicates.
They have to be put in in order for them to work correctly.

Ok i will try both, The Drivers and send a report to MS thanks for the info.

Hello Pat ? are you sure there are 4 patches for cod waw ? i only seen 1 on there website patch1.1 i have it installed. But it seems that there are only 7 or 8 server running the game seems wired and the patch dates back to 08. I might be missing something lol

Actually after a quick look there seems to be 5.
put cod 5 patch into google and you will see them.

Thanks i looked into it last night and found 4 wired that on COD website you cant find them all. I will look into the 5th now 46xx servers lol
