Pertinent Specs:
BFG 8800gtx OC SLIed
Evga 680i-A1
Here is what I tried so far...
nTune: All the GPU fan control options are greyed out 
RivaTuner: Low-Level System Tweaks only affects my master-card and the slave card's fan speed never changes away from default.
ATI Tool: Didnt find any fan speed stuff anywhere, maybe 8800/SLI unsupported?
Expertool: Fan Speed changes made no effect.
Things which maybe causing my complications? :
GPU_0 : 1625rpm (@60%)(Default Idle)
GPU_1 : 1400rpm (@60%)(Default Idle)
Could the fact that my two 88gtxs are from different production runs, i.e. different default fan speeds be causing problems?
