At the orginization I am working this summer, my task involves website
design, digital photography, writing documents,etc..

I've obtained permission from the IT guy to connect my Jornada_720
Windows CE device to the network, which I have. We have a Windows XP
server where we share all our files, and all of us use Windows XP
workstations. Part of my duties involve design, and this is easily
done without the help of a Mac. Yes the IT guy will not reccomend a
Mac, even for video editing (which he does on an XP machine).

My Jornada is able to connect to the server and I use Resco File
Explorer to connect (http://www.hpcfactor.com/reviews/software/file-explorer-4-1/).
The problem is this: Always when loading our shared graphics folder,
it always but always takes a very long time to process on my Jornada
for some strange reason. I am in no way opening any images on the
Jornada, I am only opening the folder on the server.

Has anyone else experienced this glitch? Obviously I could use the XP
workstation, but on some occassions I will need to transfer files from
my Jornada computer to the network, so all files can be shared. We
try to share our files with each other (yes even our calendar).

Perhaps you network guros may know the answer to this glitch. Yes I
already checked with our IT guy and he does not know why. All other
folders open in no time on my Windows CE Jornada 720 device.

Thanks

John
