Right so i was all happy using a Linksys wireless N usb adapter, with my BT Home Hub.

Then i finally finished my new pc which is running 32 bit vista.

Then all hel breaks loose, i downloaded the right drivers, it even picks up the wireless hub, my network, but it just stays local only and wont let me connect.

Ive disabled ipv6, sorted the router firmware, disabled router firewall, disabled windows firewall. Reset and renewed the i.p's. I even though since the adapter is n adn router is g it wouldnt work, but it did on xp.

Its really starting to grate on me.

Please if anyone can help please do.

Peace

I have same problem. Vista Laptop with wireless. Built-in wireless stopped working (Local Only). Borrowed USB wireless network adapter and it works on same laptop. Every other device in house works: Windows 7 Desktop, Android Phone, MacBook, Nintendo DSI XL. Tried updating, restarting, disabling IP6. No change. Reset router. IF I turn off all security on Router, Vista connects OK. So all the online ass wipes who say it's your router are full of crap. It's not the driver. It's not the adapter. It's Vista. It's Vista. It's gard-dam Vista.
