Hi

I have just bought a new graphics card, motherboard, RAM and cpu. Everything was ok until i came to install the graphics card drivers. It is on a brand new install of windows xp and i also formatted the other partition with programs and games on it, so its completely bare apart from my other hd which has downloads on it. I have tried the full install with Catalyst Centre and WDM certificate, and i have also tried the bare driver installation.

Furthermore I have tried Catalyst driver 7.4 and 7.3, but with both I get the error message "Zero Display Service Error". I have googled it but I found no definitve answers.

Any help much appreciated
Tet

hmmm...so the drivers dont install??

Can you make sure you have .net framework 2 or higher installed.

Make sure your copy of windows is up to date with all the "important" stuff.

Also, if that doesnt work, try using another driver like the omega drivers: www.omegadrivers.net

This is not actually a problem if you go to the ati website and search the fault it tells you something along the lines of they dont know why it does it either but it dosnt affect anything.
I have had this message the last two times i have installed cards on my system and just ignored it click ok and carry on :P
Make sure you do a full sweep to make sure you have got rid of all the other drivers you have tried and reinstall the ones you need which will be the latest ones from the website
