Well, my os seems to have *** the bed today. When I log on all I can see is my wallpaper with the taskbar and my icons all missing. The only way I can access anything is by hitting ctrl alt delete and running a new task. I saw a post by someone who seemed to have the same problem and someone told them to run system restore, only problem is, I have no restore points... What can I do to fix this?

thanks.
