hey total noob to ocing here. In fact I havent even finished running prime 95 ( pre OC )yet.
just learned my NB is too d#&n HOT !! and I'm too lazy to pull the board back out. :(

I am thinking of putting some small copper blocks and using JB weld to glue onto Gigabyte NB HS.

Question - Have you done it or heard of it before ?

Do you think JB weld will transfer heat ok ? :wink:

ok the NB is passive and supposed to be hot (maybe even hot enough so you cant keep your fingers on it) - totally normal

everyone at first thinks computers run too hot

50*c is an average temp for components in a computer (australia atleast) ;)

I don't think JB weld will work. Try something like this-http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6835108072. Worked great on a OC'd DS3/E6450 combo I built for my brother.

Personally I watercool my CPU & NB when OCing.
